Once you've launched your real estate career, you will likely set your sights on "soaring like an eagle."  Here are a few tips to keep in mind:

10. You must conquer your fear of heights.

9. No matter how gross the vultures and other subspecies may act, emulate the actions of the highest and noblest soarers, and always conduct your affairs in a manner befitting a national symbol.

8. After you’ve invested a few dollars in soaring lessons, don’t be afraid to go out on a limb.

7. Keep your beak to the grindstone, but remember that longevity is enhanced by periodic flights of fancy somewhere over the rainbow.

6. Feather your nest for your post-soaring years.

5. Let the early birds fight over the worms— you go for more regal fare.

4. Map out a flight plan before you take off and learn to soar in both good weather and bad; but avoid tornadoes, hurricanes, lightning storms and large airborne objects with “Boeing” written on the side.

3. Keep an eagle eye out for opportunities over distant horizons, but remember that hunting will likely be best in your own familiar domain.

2. Avoid associating with turkeys.

1. If at first you fail to soar, fly, fly again!
