About the Real Estate Professional
Since 1977, The Real Estate Professional magazine has provided a full range of information for members of the industry and allied partners. Its goal is to advance the careers of veterans and novices alike by prividing some of the bet thinking of the best minds in real estate – renowned colunmnists, award-winning authors, acclaimed sales trainers and instructors, industry leaders and heads of successful organizations, all of whom share their experience with like-minded practitioners.
The Real Estate Professional is published by North American Consulting Group. NACG president Charles M. Dahlheimer is a 35-year-plus veteran of the real estate industry. He was a pioneer in the MLS field, developing the National Multi List Service and the Homes For Living Network in the early ‘70s and leading the Buyer Agency movement with the development of REBAC and the ABR designation in the early 90s. He has been editor and publisher of The Real Estate Executive Summary since its inaugural issue in 1989. His books Real Estate in the 90s: A Whole New World Ahead (1989), Coping with the Dynamics of the '90s (1992) and 20/20 Vision: A Focus on the Future of the Real Estate Industry (1999) have been recognized for their acute perception and analysis of developing trends in the marektplace.
Edward R. DesRoches has been editor of The Real Estate Professional (print edition) since its inception in 1977. Under his direction, the magazine became internationally acclaimed as the leading publication in the residential real estate industry, with total readership in excess of 150,000.
Now Available Online!
This 35-year tradition continues in the online edition, but with many added advantages and benefits only available on the Internet.
The print edition was published on a bi-monthly schedule, six issues per year. The online magazine is updated “on the fly” with breaking news reported as it happens, and feature articles and columns added throughout the week.
Links to rich sources of background material and additional information can be provided with each article, allowing the reader to get the “digest” version from the magazine, then dig further into other sources when articles are of particular interest.
